Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in the Department of World Languages & Cultures for the academic year 2023-2024. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the following at a minimum:
  • Teaching undergraduate courses in American Sign Language, Arabic, Asian Languages, Chinese, Foreign Language Education, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Portuguese, Romance Languages, Russian, or Spanish

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines

Required Qualifications

An earned Master's or Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in the specific discipline or related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Native or near native fluency in the target language(s)
  • Previous experience in teaching world languages
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
